Built for readable guidance
The website uses responsive layouts, readable text sizes, generous spacing, and system fonts. Information is provided as selectable HTML rather than being embedded in images. Decorative shapes do not contain essential medical information.
Navigation features
A skip link moves to the main content. Navigation controls use descriptive labels and visible keyboard focus. The mobile menu reports whether it is expanded. Article contents links lead to the corresponding headings, and a print control opens the browser’s standard printing function.
The guide library supports text search and topic filters. The result count is announced through a live region, and the search input has a visible label. Search uses titles and descriptions, not a clinical symptom-diagnosis algorithm.
Motion and screen sizes
The design respects a reduced-motion preference and adapts to smaller screens. Tables remain within the reading area where possible. Users can enlarge the page using their browser controls.
Review and limitations
These features do not constitute independent accessibility certification or a claim of full compliance with a particular standard. Final testing should include keyboard-only use, screen readers, zoom, contrast, and representative mobile devices after WordPress deployment, since plugins and hosting customisations can change behaviour.
A dedicated accessibility contact has not yet been confirmed. No staffed accessibility desk or independent certification is claimed. The website’s design and content can be updated as accessibility issues are identified.
