THE BALANCE

A provider profile for private residential care addressing suitable complex mental-health and recovery needs.

Published program focus

THE BALANCE describes fully individual residential mental health and addiction treatment in Private or Semi-Private settings. Treatment and activities are individual throughout; only the residence, chef, and personal manager are shared in Semi-Private. Its sleep-disorders information — Website: https://thebalance.clinic/ considers sleep within a broader clinical formulation. That description does not establish that every sleep disorder can be diagnosed or treated within a residential program.

Programs, settings, and fees

Executive and Signature are available in Private and Semi-Private settings. All clinical, bodywork, and holistic sessions, excursions, and activities are individual. In Semi-Private, only the residence, chef, and personal manager are shared.

Mallorca fees are per client, per week: Executive is EUR 60,000 in Semi-Private or EUR 90,000 in Private; Signature is EUR 90,000 in Semi-Private or EUR 120,000 in Private. Zurich fees are quoted in CHF for the chosen setting and program.

Executive includes three months of aftercare. Signature includes additional individual and family work, a named continuity lead, transition support, selected hospitality arrangements such as private boat activities, external dining, and VIP airport service, and selected external medical consultations and checks when clinically indicated. Signature aftercare and ongoing support cover the first twelve months after the residential stay, with clinical reviews at months 3, 6, 9, and 12.

Locations and service boundaries

THE BALANCE offers fully individual residential treatment for adults in Mallorca, Zurich, and London, with Executive and Signature programs in Private or Semi-Private settings. All clinical, bodywork, and holistic sessions, excursions, and activities are individual. In Semi-Private, only the residence, chef, and personal manager are shared.

London program fees: Executive is £60,000 in Semi-Private or £90,000 in Private; Signature is £90,000 in Semi-Private or £120,000 in Private, per client, per week. Confirm the program, accommodation, inclusions and any additional charges in the written proposal.

Ask whether your concern needs a specialist respiratory, neurological, or diagnostic sleep service. Confirm which assessments and interventions are delivered directly and which involve external professionals. The proposed plan should explain clinical responsibility and limitations.

When a conversation may be relevant

A discussion may be relevant where a clinician is considering broader care for complex mental-health or recovery needs alongside sleep difficulties. It is not the default pathway for uncomplicated insomnia, suspected sleep apnea, or every unsuccessful attempt to sleep better.

Compare the proposed level of care with suitable outpatient options. Ask why residential treatment is recommended, which clinical goals it addresses, and how progress will be reviewed.

Questions before admission

Request the names and roles of the professionals involved, the actual treatment location, staffing and emergency arrangements, admission exclusions, relevant specialist access, and a written quotation. Ask what happens if assessment recommends another service.

Clarify continuing care, medication responsibility where relevant, and coordination with your home clinician. No individual admission, investigation, treatment timetable, price, or outcome is guaranteed by this profile.

Provider information

COGNIFUL and SENSES are related programs with different formats and purposes. This profile is based on the provider’s published description, not an independent inspection or ranking.

THE BALANCE — Zurich, Switzerland

THE BALANCE’s Zurich residential program is relevant to assessed sleep difficulties within a wider mental health treatment plan. Ask how sleep problems relate to mood, anxiety, substance use, daily routine, medication, or another medical question and which professional is responsible for each assessment. A residential mental health program should not be assumed to be a sleep laboratory or a substitute for specialist diagnostics. Confirm any separate Swiss clinical appointments and the plan for follow-up at home.
